Passengers booking Air India flights can also book cab rides and make hotel reservations on the airline’s revamped website, sources said. Sources told FE that the Tata-Group-owned airline is holding talks with third-party agencies to be able to offer such services.

“Although the initiative is still in its early days, the passenger response has been heartening. We don’t plan to club all these amenities into a single project, but explore several distinct associations or collaborations with diverse entities on different terms and conditions,” he said.
The airline said the first roll-out of such value-added services across its network is ‘Book-A-Cab’ for passengers travelling to and from domestic airports.
