Since diplomatic relations were established in 1972, India has become a vital economic partner for the United Arab Emirates and vice versa.

The significant difference between 2019 and 2023 numbers is worth noting, representing a 45.2% increase. This is due to political tensions between the two countries in the last few years that have since died down. Japan has become a “boycott target among South Koreans unhappy with Tokyo’s actions on semiconductor materials exports,” as per Nikkei Asia.
Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Narita, Osaka Kansai, and Fukuoka are all featured in the Asia-Pacific region’s top 10 busiest international connections.
