Heathrow slashed more than 60 flights on Monday as it warned of further travel disruption during the peak summer holiday period.
Around 10,000 travellers had their plans thrown into chaos after the airport cancelled flights from Terminal 5, which is used by British Airways, and Terminal 3, whose operators include Virgin, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Air France.
Heathrow cut 61 flights in total, adding that it could not rule out further cancellations at short notice.
