During a visit to Ethiopia from March 5-10, a Pakistani delegation led by Ibrahim Khalid Tawab, Honorary Consul General of Ethiopia in Karachi, met with high-ranking officials and explored trade and investment opportunities in the African country’s markets. The chief of Ethiopian Airlines announced that flights to Karachi will begin soon, which will facilitate trade between Pakistan and Ethiopia. Ethiopia’s population is 120 million, making it a large market in the African region. The consul general believes there are great opportunities for mutual trade between Pakistan and Ethiopia in the future, as Ethiopia is a hub for business and trade in the region.
