Barbados is a tourist hotspot for many sun-starved travellers who desire a two-week trip to the beautiful Caribbean.
And, luckily for Britons, it sits on the UK’s green list, making requirements for travel from this side of the pond quite minimal.
But of course, travel destinations set their own coronavirus rules for entry, and, in the case of the island country, they are quite strict.

However, this varies depending on your vaccination status: passengers who have not had their COVID-19 jabs face more restrictions and may be required to wear an electronic tracking bracelet while in quarantine.
Barbados Covid rules for entry
The Foreign Office says that all passengers arriving from the UK must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken no more than three days before their flight’s arrival.
Everyone is also required to complete a travel form 24 hours before travelling.
Barbados accepts the UK’s proof of Covid recovery and vaccination record. Unvaccinated arrivals have to quarantine at a government-approved facility – such as a hotel or a villa – at their own expense.
They are then required to take a second PCR test five days after arriving, the results of which come out within 48 hours, but can take longer.
If the test is negative, people can leave quarantine. Until then, they will need to remain in their rooms and may be required to wear an electronic tracking bracelet.

Vaccinated passengers will also need to quarantine at government -approved accommodation on arrival, but the stay is shorter.
They are given a rapid PCR test at the airport or where they quarantine. If the test comes out negative, they are free to go.
The results come out within 24 hours, but can take longer.
