Virgin Atlantic has signed a codeshare agreement with Korean Air to offer its passengers travel to Seoul and beyond. The first phase of the deal will allow Virgin Atlantic customers to fly directly to Incheon Airport in Seoul from 25 March. By June, passengers will be able to fly onward from Seoul to destinations in Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. The move is part of Virgin Atlantic’s ongoing expansion into Asia, and will see it resume services to Shanghai from May, alongside an expanded codeshare with IndiGo. Virgin Atlantic Flying Club members will benefit from priority check-in, baggage handling and boarding thanks to Korean Air’s membership of SkyTeam.
