Korean Air and Delta Air Lines have joined forces on a home repair project in Calauan, a resettlement project in the Philippines that houses low-income families affected by Typhoon Ondoy in 2009. About 110 of the 650 units require repair. Seventeen employees from the airlines helped repair homes, including repainting and performing minor carpentry, window and door repairs. The Korean airline has been partnering with Habitat for Humanity Philippines since 2013 as part of its corporate social responsibility programme. Delta Air Lines has been working with Habitat for Humanity since 1995, building or rehabilitating 270 homes; Delta employees have previously built homes with partner airlines through Habitat for Global Builds.
