Qatar Airways is to resume flights between Gatwick and Doha from 5 June as the carrier rebuilds its services from the UK.
The carrier will operate daily flights from the London airport using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner fitted with two cabins, including business class with 22 seats.
Qatar Airways’ resumption of Gatwick services comes after its joint business partner British Airways relaunched flights between Gatwick and Doha last year.
Group chief executive Akbar Al Baker said: “Our commitment to the UK market has been unwavering and we operated continuously and reliably throughout the pandemic, so I am pleased we can resume our popular service to Gatwick.”
The airline is already flying to Doha from Heathrow (five daily flights), Manchester (18 services per week) and Edinburgh (four times per week).
Qatar Airways’ Edinburgh-Doha route will also be increased to a daily service from 2 June.
