Indian airline Vistara has launched a direct flight between Mumbai and Mauritius. The service will be operated five times weekly and will use Vistara’s new Airbus A321LR aircraft. The airline is aiming to make the most of renewed passenger demand before it merges with Air India, after which the Vistara brand will disappear. Despite this, Vistara has committed to honouring its existing aircraft orders, most of which will be used to expand its international operations beyond its current Middle East, Southeast Asia, and European offerings.
