Wizz Air, which is Europe’s fastest growing and most environmentally sustainable airline globally, has announced the launch of a new airport train that will transport passengers from Luton Airport Parkway station to London Luton Airport in less than four minutes. The new transport option will enable travelers landing at Luton Airport to reach their destinations more easily and quickly than before. The fully electric Luton Airport Express has completed its project, connecting the airport terminal and the mainline railway at Luton Airport Parkway station. London Luton airport is now better-positioned to meet the increasing demand of air travelers in the region, delivering a significantly better passenger experience. Wizz Air currently connects London Luton airport with 27 countries, operating 63 destinations and 63 routes, carrying over 6 million passengers in 2022. Additionally, Wizz Air is expanding its operations from London Luton airport and has added new routes to Amman, Bydgoszcz, Lodz, and Istanbul.
