Sarajevo Airport’s growth slows following Wizz Air’s exit

NEWS FLASH

Sarajevo Airport saw its passenger growth slow in November following the closure of Wizz Air’s base in the city. The airport welcomed 68.243 passengers, which was still slightly up on the same month during the pre-pandemic 2019, when it handled 67.358 travellers, a difference of 1.3%. During the January – November period, Sarajevo Airport processed 1.310.309 passengers up 20.7% on 2019, making this year its busiest on record.
