Wizz Air has launched a twice-weekly flight service from Budapest Airport to Dammam, its third expansion into Saudi Arabia from the Hungarian capital after flights were launched to Jeddah and Riyadh in January. The carrier will operate the 3,534km sector using an Airbus A321neo, adding 14,340 one-way seats to Budapest’s Saudi Arabian schedule this summer. Balázs Bogáts, airline development director at Budapest Airport, said the service links the “tranquil scenes” of the Arabian Gulf to the “bustling infrastructure” of Dammam.
