Wizz Air has added two new routes to Budapest Airport’s winter network, with daily flights to Copenhagen and a twice-weekly service to Sharm El Sheikh. The new route to the Danish capital will see direct competition with other airlines, but the addition of these services adds to Budapest’s connectivity to the Nordic region. The route to Sharm El Sheikh will complement the airport’s already established flights to Egypt’s three main airports. Balázs Bogáts, Airline Development Director at Budapest Airport, stated that he expects high demand for both routes.
