Hungarian gateway, Budapest Airport, is preparing for its winter network, aiming to offer a diverse selection of destinations, and has announced two new routes from Wizz Air to boost its route map. Starting on 1 October, Wizz Air will add a daily connection between Budapest and Copenhagen, and later in the month will commence a twice-weekly service to Sharm El Sheikh, joining Budapest’s flights to Cairo and Hurghada. Balázs Bogáts, Airline Development Director for Budapest Airport, expressed confidence that both routes would be in high demand.
