There is a new definition of fully vaccinated for Scots and it includes getting a booster.
Nicola Sturgeon announced a new requirement for vaccine certification in Scotland in her Covid update today.
From Monday, January 17, ‘fully vaccinated’ for the Scottish vaccination scheme requires a booster if your second dose was more than four months ago.
Fully vaccinated previously meant two doses of a Covid vaccine.
Showing your vaccination status is necessary for attending certain venues in Scotland and for international travel.
People in Scotland can use the NHS Scotland Covid app on their mobile phones or a paper record to show their vaccination status.
The First Minister hinted that the Covid passport scheme could be extended in the future.
Additionally, Sturgeon removed limits to large outdoor events from January 17, including sport matches.
However, clubs must carry out Covid certification checks on at least half of the crowd.
Where will I be asked to show my vaccine record?
