New Delhi: The Twitter account of low-cost carrier Go First airline was hacked on Monday evening. Several tweets like “Amazing’, ‘Great Job’ were posted on the official Twitter account of the airline by the person (agency) who gained unauthorized access to the Twitter account.
Confirming the hacking incident, Go First airline in an official statement confirmed that the airline’s official Twitter account has been compromised.
The airline’s handle tweeted lines such as “Amazing” and “Great Job” at around 8.25 pm on Monday. Further, in the official statement, the airline said, ” GO FIRST would like to inform you that the airline’s official Twitter account has been compromised. All the concerned teams are investigating the matter to restore and gain control at the earliest. Our team is working closely with Twitter to address the issue. GO FIRST is committed to providing secure, safe, and efficient service/information to it passengers at all times.”
