An Airbnb customer has taken to TikTok to complain about a canceled booking of an Airbnb rental just days before her trip. She argues that the company’s Aircover protection program failed her and her family. Airbnb’s Aircover program promises to refund a guest’s booking and find similar or better accommodation within 30 days of check-in if the host cancels. However, despite numerous rounds of negotiation, the user was only offered a $432 refund, and the lowest-priced booking in the same area was $1,000 more than what she originally paid. The user has since said that she will never use Airbnb again.
