Bilyonaryo Kevin Tan marked Megaworld’s feat of building the largest hotel in the Philippines by inviting President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to the opening of the Grand Westside Hotel in Parañaque City.
Marcos unveiled a marker at the launch, which was also attended by House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual and Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco. The hotel consists of two 19-storey buildings with 1,530 rooms.
In his speech, Marcos said the hotel is seen to create over 20,000 jobs and boost tourism.
