The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced a joint marketing initiative with online platforms Agoda, Alipay, Klook and KKDay aimed at boosting tourism in the country. Each of the platforms will launch promotions and campaigns to increase awareness of experience-based tourism activities in major and secondary Thai destinations. Agoda will offer discounts on accommodation bookings from April to July 2023, KKday will launch two projects focussing on Songkran celebrations and water sports, Klook will introduce discounted rates for tourism activities, and Alipay will offer discounts for payments made using their platform. The TAT believes the partnership will bring a boom in tourism to Thailand and promote sustainable, valuable tourism experiences.
