Online travel agency (OTA) Booking.com has become the official online travel partner of Major League Baseball in the US. As part of the partnership, Booking.com branding will appear across baseball stadiums and icons featuring its logo will direct users to search and book accommodation near stadiums via the official schedule pages of MLB teams. The deal comes as Booking.com seeks to strengthen its position in the US market, where it aims to challenge rival OTA Expedia as the market leader. The value of the deal was not disclosed. MGM Resorts, Capital One and Marriott are also official sponsors of MLB.
