Booking.com has signed a deal with Major League Baseball (MLB) to become its official online travel partner in the United States. As part of the deal, which is a long-term partnership, Booking.com will be the presenting sponsor of the American and National League Division Series. It will help people plan baseball-inspired trips across the US by offering a wide selection of places to stay from hotels, vacation rentals, and more through a convenient app. The survey conducted by Booking.com revealed that almost half (49%) of US baseball fans plan to travel to at least one MLB game this year, and 61% of respondents say they would travel up to 500 miles to attend one. The top three deciding factors for Americans booking a trip to attend an MLB game are price, location in relation to the stadium, and transportation to and from the property. Booking.com will offer great deals with stays at various price points and conveniences, such as free cancellation and custom maps showcasing properties.
