- Surabaya Zoo
Surabaya Zoo (KBS) is one of the most popular zoos in the archipelago. As published on its official page surabayazoo.co.id, visitors can see and interact with the animals. It is home to at least 2,236 animals, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and fishes.
- House of Sampoerna
Surabaya Development Planning Agency or Bappeko noted on its page, bappeko.surabaya.go.id, that the House of Sampoerna in Taman Sampoerna, North Krembangan, was formerly a tobacco factory built in 1862. At present, the museum is one of the preserved historical sites in the region.
- Keputih Bamboo Forest
Keputih Bamboo Forest offers ecotourism within the city. According to Airlangga University’s page repository.unair.ac.id, this tourist destination used to be a landfill located in Sukolilo District and was later transformed into a green open space in the middle of the city in the 2000s. As it is named, it is also a place to preserve the bamboo forest
- Suro and Boyo Statue
The Suro and Boyo statue is an iconic landmark, a symbol of the city. It features sura or shark and baya or crocodile tussling amid seaweed. This 25-meter-high statue is located in Suroboyo Park. Like Tugu Jogja in Yogyakarta and the National Monument or Monas in Jakarta, it will be incomplete for tourists to come to Surabaya without visiting the Suro and Boyo Statue.
