Sunil Suresh, who was appointed as chief marketing officer of MakeMyTrip Group (MMT) in 2019 has put down his papers. He is currently serving his notice period and the organisation’s senior management is figuring out a smooth transition.
What’s next for Suresh, who was leading the end-to-end marketing function for the MMT brands, MakeMyTrip and Goibibo, remains unknown. He was unavailable for comment in this story.
As a part of his portfolio, Suresh was leading strategy, analytics, automation, alliances and partnerships, CLM and loyalty, retention, acquisition, content and design, performance, programmatic, digital and search marketing, app and growth marketing.
Before joining MMT Group, he was the chief marketing and strategy officer at Capillary Technologies. He has spent more than six years at the Yum! Brands and almost nine years at Unilever before that.
