Traveloka, an Indonesian technology company that provides online travel and lifestyle products, will host the Traveloka International Travel Fair 2023 from May 29 to June 2. The fair aims to offer discounts on various travel products, including transportation, accommodation, and lifestyle deals, from over 4,500 international business partners. The Traveloka International Travel Fair in Thailand saw a near six-fold surge in the transactions of international flights, and it is expected that the top Traveloka destinations in Asia, such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan, will be highlighted during the fair.
Outbound tourism from Thailand is also expected to recover, with approximately one million Thais traveling to Japan alone in 2023, according to the Thai Travel Services Association (TTSA). The TTSA forecasts that the total number of outbound tourists could reach 6-7 million, which is about 70% of pre-pandemic figures.
Traveloka plans to introduce several new features to enhance its travel products, including Student Tickets flights, Pay Upon Check-In, and Xperience, which provides customers with easy refunds and rescheduling for beauty and spa products.
Iko Putera, CEO of transport, Traveloka, said that the International Travel Fair is part of the company’s commitment to promoting global tourism, while also providing customers with convenience when planning their travels, particularly for international trips.
