Donegal County Council’s annual tourism seminar will be held on 30 March at the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny. The theme of the event is ‘Emerging Trends and Opportunities,’ and speakers will discuss how tourism has changed significantly over recent years. Justin Reid, Director of Media, Destinations, Hotels and Growth with Tripadvisor, will be among the guest speakers. The seminar will provide expert guidance and knowledge to help the industry navigate and adapt to these changes. Attendees can join the Donegal Tourism Associate Membership free of charge for one year. The event allows the tourism community to network and make new connections. Other speakers include Eoghan O’Mara Walsh, CEO of Irish Tourism and Geraldine Ann Cusack, sustainability and climate action officer at Fáilte Ireland. Award-winning Donegal chef Brian McDermott will be the MC for the event.
