People are leaving ‘fake Tripadvisor reviews’ of a restaurant where a gunman burst into to take out a hit before he was overpowered and stabbed to death.
Tristan Sherry burst into Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown, Dublin, with a “high velocity weapon” before being fatally overpowered on Christmas Eve 2023, Irish police said. It emerged later that he was allegedly out to get a 47-year-old man who was dining with his son. Sherry was reportedly disarmed and stabbed as many as 30 times. A man has been arrested in relation to the incident.
In shocking clips seen by the Daily Star, patrons could be heard screaming as they reacted to the incident, with one person saying that a man was “whacked”. Michael Andrecut, 22, of Corduff, was subsequently charged with murder, making no reply to the charge after he appeared in court on Saturday.
