SalamAir, an Omani low cost airline, has
confirmed that it will launch year-round flights between Muscat
and Beirut.
Scheduled to take off on 30 September, the airline
will operate weekly flights to the Lebanese capital city every
Saturday, and has already confirmed that additional flights will
be available during the new year holiday period.

“This update is in response to the overwhelming
public demand and significant success of bookings for the new year
holidays, as well as the summer season that the seasonal
destination has operated in since December 2022,” said Captain
Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir. “This new connection
marks an exciting milestone for both countries and opens endless
trade, tourism, and cultural exchange possibilities. Recognizing
the growing interest and the remarkable seat factor on their
flights, SalamAir has made the decision to include Beirut as one
of its year-round destinations.”
SalamAir domestic network consists of flights to
the following destinations: Duqm, Masirah, Muscat, Salalah and
Suhar.
The LCC’s international destinations include:
Alexandria, Almaty, Baghdad, Bahrain, Baku, Bangkok, Beirut,
Chattogram, Colombo, Dammam, Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Fujairah,
Istanbul, Jaipur, Jeddah, Karachi, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur,
Kuwait, Lucknow, Madinah, Mashhad, Multan, Peshawar, Phuket,
Prague, Riyadh, Rize, Sarajevo, Shiraz, Sialkot, Tehran, Trabzon
and Trivandrum.
The airline also flies directly from Suhar to Salalah, Shiraz, Trabzon,
and from Salalah to Bahrain, Calicut, Fujairah, Madinah, Muscat
and Suhar.
SalamAir currently operates a fleet of six A320neos, seven
A321neos and one A321F.
