Three people died and one is missing after a tourism helicopter crashed into the sea close to Xiamen in East China’s Fujian Province on Friday afternoon, the Global Times learned from the Donghai (East China Sea) Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport.
The helicopter crashed into the sea at about 5 pm, with four people on board. Surveillance video circulating online, which is believed to come from a commercial street close to the water, shows that the helicopter plunged head down into the sea.
