Jaipur: A crater of 3-km diameter in Baran district estimated by geologists to have occurred some 150 million years ago due to the impact of a meteorite will be developed as a tourist spot.
The crater also has a 10th-century Shiva temple called BhandDeva in the style of the Khajuraho group of monuments which was demolished byAurangzeb. But the temples, which are under the archaeological department, hasnot been restored and developed.
