On Mon, Jan. 29, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced the grand opening of the Seoul Goods Pop-up Store “Seoul Life”. This event will run from 1 PM to 9 PM for four days, starting Thu, Feb. 1, at Café Scène in Seongsu, known as the mecca of pop-up stores. Café Scène, a popular destination in the area, is a multifaceted cultural space featuring a café on the first floor and a select shop on the second.
The Seoul Goods Pop-up Store “Seoul Life” will operate from 6 PM to 9 PM on its opening day. For the subsequent three days (the second through fourth days), it will be open from 1 PM to 9 PM. No prior reservation is required to enter the space.
Centered around the concept of ‘Seoul Life’, which encompasses all aspects of the daily lives of Seoul residents – including play, fashion, enjoyment, and cuisine – the Seoul Goods Pop-up Store aims to provide more than just a display of merchandise. The store will offer a variety of unique attractions and activities, enabling visitors to immerse themselves in the experiences and daily routines of those living in Seoul.
Seoul Ramyeon, embodying the distinct flavors of Seoul, will be introduced for the first time. This product has been developed through a collaboration with Pulmuone, a leading Korean food company. Seoul Ramyeon will be available in two varieties: Classic (instant noodles with soup) and Jjajang (black bean sauce noodles). Both versions feature non-fried noodles and are low in calories (360 kcals for Classic and Jjajang) while still delivering rich and healthy flavors.
In addition, each pack of Seoul Ramyeon includes a single flavor packet that combines seasoning powder and dehydrated vegetable flakes. The design aims to minimize waste and simplify the cooking process. Furthermore, a portion of the sales from Seoul Ramyeon will be directed towards social contribution projects.
