Seoul signs contract to build mooring gas appliances We’re going to spend 3.2 billion won.The first season in June this year.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government will launch a new tour package that will reveal the night view of the Han River.
The program’s name is “Seoul Moon”, and as the name suggests, it is a product that travels over Yeouido on a moon-shaped mooring gas balloon.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government aims to spend 3.2 billion won to order and manufacture moon-shaped gas appliances, verify their safety, and launch them over Yeouido in June this year. Passengers can watch the night view of the Han River from about 150 meters above the sky.
According to the city on the 11th, the city’s tourism policy department signed a contract to produce, purchase and install the moon in Seoul on the 29th of last month with Flying Suwon Co., Ltd., which bid exclusively for the bidding company. The gas balloon was designated as ‘Aero30ng’ by the French manufacturer Aerophile Sas. An official from the Seoul Metropolitan Government explained, “We selected the model after verifying the safety of the equipment for major global manufacturers such as France and the UK.”
The city utilized the logo of Seoul’s new city brand “Seoul, My Soul” and requested a design that can match the surrounding environment, such as park facilities and trees.
It will be installed in Yeouido Park Lawn Park and will be operated by the Seoul Tourism Foundation. The flight time per boarding is about 13 minutes, and the boarding fee is expected to be set at 20,000 won to 25,000 won.
