The Myanmar Hotelier Association was established under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism with the aim of developing the hotel industry and solving problems faced by individual members. The association has several objectives ranging from leading the hotel industry in line with government policies and objectives to preserving traditional customs and cultural heritage. The association is composed of individual hoteliers and has a patronage panel and central executive committee. Its vision is to empower the Myanmar hotel industry and achieve sustainable growth, while its mission is to unite and represent hotels across the country and develop the membership systematically while finding solutions to problems. The association works closely with the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and is actively involved in promoting tourism and hospitality activities in Myanmar. The association has established 19 Hotelier Associations in major tourist destinations with over 800 members and is an active member of the Myanmar Tourism Federation.
