Doha: Mohammed Rasmi turned in a commendable all-around performance and guided Redco to a third triumph in as many matches in the Qatar Airways Division B Cricket Tournament.
At the West Bay Grounds, Rasmi removed half the Lanka Knights Club team, giving away just 15 runs. As a result, Redco shot out them for only 114 runs. Later, Rasmi blasted four sixes and four boundaries to post 52 in 27 balls as Redco reached the target for the loss of three wickets in 10.4 overs.
Meanwhile, Vigneshwaran of Qatar Super Kings slammed an unbeaten 89 in 42 balls to set up a nine-wicket rout of Gulf Warehousing Company in another match. After restricting the opponents to 117 for eight in 20 overs through a three-wicket haul from Sabesh, Qatar Super Kings raced to the victory in 10.3 overs.
The third win in a row took Qatar Super Kings to the top of the table along with Redco.
