Disney Cruise Line and the Singapore Tourism Board have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will bring a newly renovated Disney cruise ship to Singapore as its homeport from 2025 for at least five years. The vessel will be the recently acquired Global Dream Project ship and will be among the first in the world to be powered by green methanol fuel. The move will help Disney explore potential cruise routes in and around Southeast Asia, a thriving cruise hub that is home to over 40 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Details about the ship’s itineraries and onboard experiences will be announced at a later date.
