Local health experts have described the United Kingdom’s decision to keep South Africa on the travel red list as “irrational” and “flimsy”.
This week, the United Kingdom updated its international travel rules announcing that eight countries, including Egypt, Bangladesh, Kenya and Pakistan, will move from the red to the amber list from Wednesday. South Africa is staying on the red list.
