Travel technology company Klook has reported a strong recovery in Thailand’s tourism sector, with significant growth that has more than doubled for three consecutive quarters. The company also observed a 30% increase in average travel spend for experiences in 2023 compared to pre-Covid times, indicating that travelers are willing to spend more for meaningful experiences in Thailand. Klook has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to drive more visitors from seven key markets, including Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan, to Thailand. The partnership will focus on creating and amplifying engaging digital content that highlights Thailand’s tourism offerings, with a particular focus on its 5F Soft Power and the value of meaningful travel experiences. Klook is an official partner of TAT’s Visit Thailand Year: Amazing New Chapters campaign and is committed to supporting and contributing towards TAT’s objective of boosting tourist arrivals in 2023. The partnership with TAT will kick off with the Let Your Journey Be Thai campaign, which focuses on highlighting authentic Thai activities and experiences.
