Thailand welcomed 9.4 million foreign tourists in the first three months of 2024, contributing around 454.6 billion baht to the economy.
The country aims to reach a record 40 million tourists this year, close to pre-pandemic levels. The upcoming 21-day Songkran festival is expected to generate 52.5 billion baht in domestic tourism revenue, with provinces in the East anticipated to receive the highest income.
