Rydal Caves is one of the most popular tourist spots in the Lake District, but it clearly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, according to one Trip Advisor review.
Each year visitors and locals alike trek up to see the caves and all their beauty. Rydal Cave is a large cavern on the north side of Loughrigg Fell, above Rydal Water.
This famous Lakeland beauty spot is actually man-made, as a result of slate quarrying. When you get to the top you can even walk into the cave using the stepping stones.
