Having joined Jumeirah Al Qasr in May 2021, Krystel Irani, hotel manager of Jumeirah Al Qasr oversaw the revamp of the hotel’s F&B brands at a time when dining has become an integral part of guests’ experiences.
In an exclusive with Arabian Business, Irani said that: “It was a great opportunity to do an F&B renaissance for our hotel and repositioning Al Qasr which is already a big historic name in town, but really bringing the local, residential and influential people back to our hotel.”
Dining outlets which were renovated since Irani joined include Al Nafoorah, The Hide, French Riviera and Bar Buci.

Why is there an increased focus on F&B? How does it add to the hotel brand?
The F&B scene has been extremely important because our well-travelled clientele are not just looking anymore an accommodation anymore. They’re looking at the full, holistic approach, which is something that our hotel provides.
From spa to amenities, we have the facilities that can cater to all our guests but behind the scenes, there’s a big direction that is led by our team and our CEO Mr. Silva, which is defining the key pillar of signature dining in all our hotels – so having the signature dining experiences for our guests, and really becoming pioneers of the best dining features of all our cuisines.
We’re strengthening that position and making sure that any of our guests that comes to the hotel finds a palette or diversity in what they’re looking.
What are your plans for the upcoming summer and the rest of the year?

But I’m very excited that we are working on a continuation of revamp and refurbishments. As we speak, we are working on a quick relaunch in one of the venues in Jumeirah Dar al Masyaf so stay tuned for more information on that.
So my summer particularly is going to be very busy carrying out all those…
