BP p.l.c., one of the world’s leading multinational energy companies, has joined the Corporate Partnership Board of the International Transport Forum.
BP operates in over 65 countries on all five continents and employs 66 000 people. Headquartered in London, UK, the company produces 2.2 million barrels of oil equivalent per day and operates more than 20 000 retail sites and 13 000 electric vehicle charging points. In 2021, BP generated USD 60.7 billion in revenues.
BP has set out a strategy to transform itself from an international oil company focused on producing resources to an integrated energy company focused on delivering solutions for customers.
As part of this transformation, the company has set itself the goal to be a net-zero operator before 2050 to help the world achieve net zero and offer a strategy for delivering on that ambition. As a Corporate Partner, BP will work with the ITF on issues such as transport decarbonisation, new mobility services and smart cities.
