“We will add more national and international events every month to support more tourist visits to Labuan Bajo,” BPOLBF President Director Shana Fatina stated here on Wednesday.
The number of tourist visits to Labuan Bajo is targeted to reach one million by 2024, she remarked.
Fatina noted that in 2024, her side will focus on events that can diversify tourism products.
Meanwhile, to boost tourism in Parapuar, the BPOLBF will cooperate with several partners to upgrade facilities, attractions, and accommodations as well as other infrastructure.
Until early December of 2023, the number of tourists only reached around 800 thousand.
Fatina said, various national events will be held during the low season to attract more tourists.
