Covid passports, mask-wearing and work from home advice will continue to be mandatory in Wales into next year, the Welsh First Minister has said
Mark Drakeford‘s comments come as the country just introduced compulsory NHS Covid passes in Wales.
From today people must show an NHS Covid Pass or demonstrate their vaccination status to enter nightclubs and attend large events in Wales.
The official passes are compulsory for over-18s, and show people have either tested negative on a lateral flow test or are fully vaccinated against Covid.
The new scheme means passes are needed to enter nightclubs, indoor non-seated events for more than 500 people such as concerts or conventions, outdoor non-seated events for more than 4,000 people, and any setting or event with more than 10,000 people in attendance.
Those who fake a coronavirus test result or vaccination status will be committing a criminal offence and face a fixed penalty notice.
Mr Drakeford believes the new measure will help see Wales…
