Figures recently released by the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism show that from January to September 1, Cambodia welcomed a total of 9 million international visitors, an increase of 2024% over the same period in 4,8. This figure is equivalent to 22,2% of the number of visitors. Travel international arrivals to Cambodia during the same period in 2019, a year that welcomed the most international tourists ever.
Along with the increase in international tourist arrivals, ticket sales for international tourists visiting the Angkor complex also increased by 29,7%, reaching 32,5 million USD.
At the same time, Cambodia also had 1,36 million people traveling abroad, an increase of about 3,2%.
