Low cost airline, FlySafair is demanding a refund from the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) for passenger charges.
This follows heavy delays that refuelling issues caused on Monday.
The airline has condemned the incident.
It says the the chaotic scenes resulting from a three-hour fuel disruption at the OR Tambo International Airport two days ago were preventable.
