Several Canadian pilots were heard discussing the possibility that they were seeing a UFO earlier this month after they reported seeing “multiple lights” moving in odd patterns and “forming triangles” thousands of feet in the air.
The discussion took place two and a half hours early in the morning of Jan. 19. The conversation was edited down to a 13-minute clip by CTV News, where at least four different aircraft reported seeing the lights as high as 100,000 feet in the air.
At about 4:45 a.m. local time, one air traffic controller in Winnipeg tells the pilots that they believe the lights are a satellite, but others are not so sure.
“I’m certainly no expert, but they’re moving side-to-side and then going away from each other and then forming triangles,” an Air Canada pilot said while flying over Saskatchewan. “That doesn’t really seem like they’re in any type of orbit. But I mean, I’m no expert.”
