Starting 1 June 2024, direct Air India flights will connect India and Vietnam via Delhi and Ho Chi Minh City five times a week. Air India will be the only Indian airline to operate direct flights on this route.
As stated by a spokesperson from Air India, “The new route will further strengthen Air India’s network of destinations in Southeast Asia, offer a new flight option to an increasing number of travelers between India and Vietnam, and open new connections for Vietnamese travelers to access Air India’s global route network. The new service will also enable convenient one-stop connections to Vietnam via Delhi for travelers from the U.S., Canada, UK, and Europe.”
