TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Indonesian airlines AirAsia recorded over 391,000 passengers served throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays from Dec. 19, 2023, to January 3, 2024.
“With a total of 2,500 domestic and international flights,” said the Executive Director of Indonesia AirAsia Veranita Yosephine Sinaga on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Several destinations were deemed favorites during the holiday, Veranita claimed. Bali and Toba Lake were among the domestic ones, while Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Bangkok were favorite international destinations.
“With an occupancy rate of 86 percent, supported by over 120 additional flights to fulfill the high demand rate,” she said.
