EXCLUSIVE: BMF star Da’Vinchi has signed with Independent Artist Group for representation in all areas. The signing reunites the actor with his previous agency APA.
Da’Vinchi portrays drug kingpin Terry “Southwest T” Flenory in BMF, the Starz drama series from executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. He stars opposite Demetrius Flenory Jr., who plays Demetrius “Meech” Flenory, Terry’s older brother.
Based on a true story, BMF chronicles the unconventional journey to success of the Flenory brothers, who rose from the depths of poverty, navigating the war on drugs in Detroit to become game changers in hip-hop and culture. Season 3 premieres on March 1.
Additional TV credits include major recurring roles on the CW series All American and Grown-ish for Freeform.
On the film side, Da’Vinchi most recently led the Mary J. Blige-produced TV movies Real Love and Strength of a Woman for Lifetime. He was also part of the ensemble cast of the Warner Bros. feature film The Way Back (2020) starring Ben Affleck.
Additionally, Da’Vinchi made his Broadway debut in the Keenan Scott II play Thoughts of a Colored Man alongside Luke James, Dyllon Burnside, Bryan Terrell Clark, Forrest McClendon and Tristan “Mack” Wilds.
As a mental health advocate, Da’Vinchi has partnered with major brands to help support and assist millennials and Gen-Z’ers find their purpose, identify their gifts and learn how to engage with mental health resources. He also took his message on the road recently via a sponsored tour to meet HBCU students about the importance of self-care while providing tools and inspiration for the next generation to prioritize mental health in pursuit of their passions.
