Here are some other Qatar Airways baggage guidelines you should know before packing for your trip.
Checked baggage guidelines
- No piece of checked baggage can exceed 32 kg (70 lbs).
- When flying to/from the continents of Africa or the Americas, the maximum dimension per bag should not be more than 158 cm (62.2 in). The same regulation applies to flights originating from Dammam.
- When flying from Dublin, checked baggage cannot exceed 240 cm (94.5 in) in length.
- When flying to/from other destinations, the maximum dimension per bag cannot exceed 300 cm (118.1 in)
Carry-on baggage guidelines
- First-class and business class passengers can carry two pieces of baggage onboard, totaling a maximum weight of 15 kg (33 lbs)
- Economy class passengers can carry one piece of luggage not exceeding 7 kg (15 lbs).
- The maximum dimensions for each piece of carry-on baggage are 50 x 37 x 25 cm (20 x 15 x 10 in).
- Laptops and laptop bags are part of your carry-on baggage and should fit within the given allowances.
- For tickets issued in Brazil, economy class passengers can carry one piece of baggage not exceeding 10 kg (22 lbs) on flights to or from the country.
