During a recent mileage run through Las Vegas, I had a chance to visit the United Club both in the morning and evening, a club with kind staff and plenty of space to spread out.
United Club Las Vegas (LAS) Review
I have access to United Airlines’ network of airport lounges, called United Clubs, thanks to my Air Canada 75K status (which itself was matched from United). That gives me access each time I fly on United, no matter the destination or class of service. I hope this year to review every United Club in the system.
Location + Hours + Access
This LAS United Club is located in Terminal 3, Concourse D, between Gates 33 and 35. It is open daily from 4:30am to 10:30pm. From the concourse, you can take either an elevator or stairs up to the lounge, located on the third floor, which is six flights up!
Access is reserved for United Club members, Chase United Club Visa holders, Star Alliance Gold travelers, and international business or first class passengers traveling on any Star Alliance flight.
Furthermore, one-time passes are accepted. These are distributed to Chase MileagePlus Explorer credit card holders or can be purchased at the door for $59. Note that if you hold a Star Alliance Gold card from United Airlines (Premier Gold or higher), you can only access the lounge when traveling in conjunction with an international itinerary.
Those who have a Star Gold card from other programs (like me) can use the lounge when traveling on any Star Alliance flight in any class of service. Also note that from LAS, United does not give premium cabin passengers access on domestic flights without status.
Seating
After checking your credentials, you’ll find the lounge is one large room, with a food and bar area on the left side and seating on the right. This is a former Continental Airlines lounge but has been refreshed with new furniture and more power and USB-A ports.
